Okada Manila

Okada Manila is an integrated resort on Manila Bay, its facade and balconies clad in aluminium composite panel in a colour particular to the building.

The work came through E. E. Black Ltd. in January 2022 — damaged cladding on the balconies, beginning on the sixth floor and extending across the balcony elevations, to be restored and repainted in place rather than replaced.

The colour was the difficulty. Others had been unable to match it, and a visible patch on a feature facade is worse than the damage it replaces. We matched it on site and refinished the panels, so the original cladding stayed where it was.

Brought in because the colour could not be matched.
